Diaper Cake.
Now doesn't that sound appetizing?
These custom creations are merely for decoration, but can also be used to hold you over once you've run out of diapers for the night and can't make it to the store. I started making these a few years ago when I got the news that some of my close friends were expecting. The first one I made was for my friend Liz who was having a boy. Her husband Philip is a die-hard FSU fan, so it was pretty easy for me to get ideas. I'm a sucker when it comes to college sports, so I went all out on this one. I'm still searching my photo archives for a picture. I know it's somewhere in my computer. Stayed tuned for that. :)
The diaper cakes and wreath below are some that I have made this past year for friends, friends of friends and family members. They ranged from about $50.00 to $80.00 to make and include 96 diapers. I will make them at COST because I enjoy it so much and because they are already a little pricey. If you are on strict budget I can make smaller cakes just as cute! If you have any questions about how to make your own diaper cake, or if you would like me to make a custom one for a baby shower, please contact me at 713.962.3075 or jenna.ankenbruck@gmail.com. I would love to help. I ask for a weeks notice for design and creating. I can usually knock one out in a day or two once I shop for all the necessities.
